In the 2nd photo from ...Important Observation!<br /><br /> In the 2nd photo from the top, of Nerf's TIA booth, there is a poster visible on the left-hand side that says "Gear Up for 9.10.11!" We know this already, but under that it says, "N-Strike vs. Vortex", and has what appears to be the new Vortex symbol! So, it seems a fair assumption that Vortex will be a separate theme, not a replacement, which I suppose was logical assuming that the oft-resourced press release that set this whole thing buzzing hailed Vortex as "a completely new and innovative blaster experience".
