Nerf N-Force: DO we even want it?

In regards to the Nerf Warlock: Conan says "Yes"
Nerf's line of melee attack N-Force toys have yet to really make much of an impact in Australia, having only been spotted in very small dribbles in stores-mostly from grey importing rather than it being an official release. (The Australian Nerf website has no mention of them.. but that's more due to the fact their web designer must have glandular fever or something and has been off work for the past year :P a lack of updates)

If they WERE available though... would you get them? From the whole roleplaying aspect.. have you ever had the desire to don a pair of furry undies and charge around the house screaming for the power of Greyskull? Swords may be very man-ly, but do they clash with your Stampede?:)

  2. Yes. You got me. Conan did bail on the photo shoot and we had to use an extra and photoshop his face:)

  3. Tryin to deal with the fact that someone has *thought* you were trying to put up a pic of Conan from Conan the Barbarian and pass it off as real has damaged my brain.

  7. Don't really like the idea of foam melee weapons. Nerf should stick to blasters firing foam darts.

P.S. Of course everyone knows Conan existed many hundred of years before the Nerf war axe is invented. Anyone who think that photo is real is an idiot XD

  8. I'd have to pick them up and swing them around a bit before I could decide whether or not to get one. I'm more concerned about how well they're padded and supported than their appearance.
Urge to wear furry undies and charge: high. I've dressed in more scandalous things than a Conan outfit.

  9. I say yes it is worth it. My son and i have played with other foam swords and axes but they don't hold up. The N-Force line has and you know when you get hit even though it doesn't hurt (much).

  10. They're actually really good. I went to Wal-Mart (I live in the US) and swung em' around and they're...yeah really good. They're really sturdy too, they have hard plastic in it and then covered in foam. ;)

  12. I like the melee weapons. There is something very satisfying about cornering somone while dual wielding to long swords and scaring them out of their skin :D Not that I would no of course *cough* *Whistles*
