Rumours: Nerf Super Soaker Thunderstorm

Nerf's N-Strike line aren't the only blasters receiving the battery powered treatment.  Behold the Nerf Super Soaker Thunderstorm; a fully automatic water blaster. From what I can gather, it has N-Strike compatible tactical rails, runs on 4 AA batteries and comes with a water "clip", much like the way the CS series go.  It can support all N-Strike stocks as well, and the clip looks like it's got a belt clip to attach to your boardies.

Electronic water blasters have never really been that fantastic for range and performance, so it'll be interesting to see if Nerf can do any better. More intel as I find out more!

There's a guy selling one on ebay, however it is out of packaging and "as is" so the asking price for $120US is a little steep.

    1. the battery part of the gun is sealed with rubber and is waterproof,so you could put it in the water for a short period of time. about 1-2 mins.

  4. (To The Guy Above Me) Just Clip Shaped Water Bottles So You Dont Have to Refill The Gun Directly.

  7. EPIC IDEA:
    Buy 2 thunderstorms
Take 2 two liter bottles and strap them onto your back. Run fish tank tubing from each bottle to each clip. Epic duel wielding with loads of ammo.

  8. it would be about a 600ml clip
batteries would have a water tight seal
my only concern would be range (moding it would therefore result in pure h2awesome)
extra mags are already available (in australia)and would fit all clip super soakers

  9. Its father's day so don't rag me too much but we just open the box added batteries and pulled the trigger. Well just like dear old dad, the thunderstorm produced less than a drizzle. Actually nothing at all, no motor hum no squirt. Was there some kind of plug I needed to remove. Please give me feed back so we can solve this problem.
