Are you excited yet? Or still a critic?:)
"Another awesome feature we can confirm about the new Nerf Vortex line? Most incorporate the same Tactical Rail system as Nerf N-Strike blasters – meaning that your Vortex and N-Strike accessories will be compatible with both lines. Get ready to take your Nerf collection to the next level. Keep your eyes on the page for more official info reveals on the Vortex lineup...there's much more to come."

ReplyDeleteHopefully you've received my email by now, it should interest you...
What's with all the critics? I mean, what gave disks such a bad rap? Personally, I think they're a good idea... after all, few blasters could get a DART that far...
That loading system looks pretty smexy...
ReplyDeleteI'm curious how they manage to shoot discs without batteries, but I'd rather stick with darts...
ReplyDelete-Huttser
Am I mistaken or do I see bullpup at 0:06?
ReplyDeleteA better look at those disks at least proves to me it's not the same design we've seen those Dollar Store disk shooters have... which is relieving! Neat to see the little guy in action too!
ReplyDeleteI'm just happy to see that the disks aren't completely hollow!
ReplyDeleteCan they give us straight foward infomation. Oboivsly there doing a Vortex v N-Strike thing, we allready knew that; we're not dumb. Oh for the record I tip the newer n-strike guns to beat vortex buya longshot; get it, ha.
ReplyDeleteso the XLR disks are plastic it looks like?
ReplyDeleteOk, 1st i think the viligon and praxis can have plungers, but how can the proton have one when the loading if from the rear? also at the end it shows that the praxis has a tube stock attachment piece like the recon, AT, and so on unlike the spectre and barricade. Why is the front of the proton so large?
ReplyDeleteits a gimmick, they are to slow.
ReplyDeleteI hate the whole idea of disk guns.Too me Nerf will spas out with ther first sales and say something like"Hey lets make more disk guns and stop the foam darts,Then we can kill of N-strike!"Thats just what I think.
ReplyDeleteyea wanna-be is right, keanu reeves would've dodged the shit out of that.
ReplyDeleteseriously though, please shut the hell up wanna-be.
and thanks for the info UT!
THE BLASTER THAT HAS THE "RECON" STOCK IS THE PRAXIS!!!!
ReplyDeleteNotice that in the first vortex video when the guy holds the "recon" blaster, the little video clip before he shoots it,he says "vortex praxis." Listen closely. Its a bit blurry but you can make it out. The one with the foregrip is the vigilon, not praxis.
um I have read all the comments and stuff but i've never managed to find out which vortex gun is which. i did see the list of names and prices but I havn't seen the match up
ReplyDeletecould you plz help me
p.s my fav is the one with the pump action hande :)
At 0:03 You see the recon, barricade and raider geared up..Also next to them you can see the darts,They look geared up also!At 0:06 you can see the disks better and as you can see, they aren't completely flat. These look really cool, and i cant wait for them to come out.
ReplyDeleteHeres My blog:Nerfassasain.blogspot.com:D
any1 noticed the new shape of disks? The outer curve gives it an almost frisbee style shape so i reckon these will be a lot more accurate than other disk shooters :)
