We've managed to get our hands on a sample of the new Nerf Vortex ammo. It's a very light weight foam ring that surrounds an equally lightweight plastic cap. I'd say they're much the muchness weightwise to a foam dart.
Interesting...So the discs are sort of like a flat dart. Hopefully they have much better accuracy than Streamlines, seeing as there are no holes or anything. Nerf's actually put more thought into these than was first apparent - they used to just look like plastic discs.
I play Ultimate Frisbee, and trust me some of the guys i play with can send absolute Missles and bombs, so these thing should go pretty fast if the spin

I told you, when nerf makes something, they don't screw around, when they make disks they make god disks not crappy plastic ones.

ReplyDeleteive been told by hasbro that they are more aerodynamic. but they dont hurt as much and that they break easily. nice but weak!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDelete^ Why would hasbro tell you that their new ammo breaks easily?
ReplyDeleteNerf should have stuck to a yellow or orange color imo. I've lost almost an entire clip of these in a couple of games in my backyard!!
