2013 Super Soakers: spotted Virginia USA

It may officially still Winter in the US, but apparently the new Super Soaker line is already making it to the shelves. These ones were spotted in a Target in Virginia and sent to us by a reader:

"we have found these water guns at a Target in Virginia, we only bought the Flash Blast, which can be slam-fired. the Switch Shot is capable of four different fire modes due to the rotation of the front of the gun."

A few more pics sent to us after the jump. Thanks Tami!

Notice the different colouring for the Electrostorm two packs:)

  3. Been out on shelves for a while now. I saw some Instagrammer post a picture of them on selves. I thought the Scatter Blast was something new at the bottom their photo. Nope. Kind of a cool new paint scheme. Would like a Orange Electrostorm. Nerf is improving one step at a time. :-l I don't see why that they can't make CPS Blasters when they have the power. I know they can't make it too power because of the stories, but at least give it to Water Warriors! Nerf does do a way better job at design though!

  5. Are any of these or the new Water warriors blasters powered by air tanks or bladders, or are all of them excluding the flash blast pump only?

Also, swapping the Flash blast's spring with a similar but longer one will solve its problem with water just dripping out at the end of the shot. the reason it drips is because there is no spring tension at the end of the shot, and a longer spring will add that tension to fix it.

  6. Well... at least one of them has at rigger.

To the reader above me, Water Warriors has released several guns this year that are good ole air pressure with a trigger. You have the Colossus 2, the Drench N Blast, Python 2, Crickets in a 2 Pack, and a rerelease of the Equalizer but under a name I can't remember at the moment. The Colossus 2 would absolutely destroy anything in this post.

  7. I agree with you Hydrowar, long gone are the days of the Larami Super Soaker - I remember getting the CP-50 and playing with it until it broke about 4 years later. These new Super Soakers are an embarrassment to that aforementioned memory. The Water Warriors line works much nicer, is much cheaper, and lasts more than one season - I had a Microburst and the darn thing broke in two weeks! I got a second one and it outperformed the first but the range still sucked.
