A firing video of the upcoming Nerf N-Strike Elite Rapidstrike surfaces on Baidu. Yup, if you really need confirmation it's a flywheel, here it is. What's very cool though is checking out the full auto performance- it's a lot faster than people have speculated.
Video after the jump:) I have to admit.. I'm keen as!
Nerf Elite Rapidfire firing via Youku
0 to sticky in under a minute!
ReplyDeleteOMG I CANT WAIT PEWPWEPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEW
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet! Finally we have confirmation of flywheel(even though we knew) so I don't have to read any more comments questioning if it uses a plunger.
ReplyDeleteYou're telling me :D
DeleteEither the video won't work for me or it's not there. Link?
ReplyDeleteWorks fine, but here i found it: http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNTQ1MzE1MjA0.html?
DeleteIT WILL BE MINE! OH YES, IT WILL BE MINE!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, the rate of fire is SO much faster than I thought it would be! Definitely on my radar now! :D
ReplyDeletesomebody mod that thing's mechanism into a hail-fire please... talk about burning through a mag, i don't think I can swap mags that fast... XD
ReplyDeleteit's amazing the rate of fire on this thing is faster then some Stampede mods in its stock form
ReplyDeleteHeresy!
Deletehttp://coastalbendactionsports.blogspot.com/2013/04/foam-firepower-and-science.html
it is faster to all those who say no its fire rate of 3.6 darts per second vs the stampede 3.0 actually creating a significant difference in rpm and ur link dosent give thier full results so i dont buy it if it is true his stampede is modded for voltage.
DeleteSomeone needs reading glasses. Do you see a stock stampede in that data? All of the Stampedes in that list are modded, in fact two of them are the same stampede with different charge states. As stated in the text, the comparison is between a stock Rapidstrike, and a modded Stampede. When I can be bothered to sample a stock Stampede i'll add it to the graph as i have with other blasters. Till then, learn to read and understand text before you try to criticize the content.
DeleteThat's... Much more impressive than I would have expected. I'm really looking forward to this one.
ReplyDeleteWow, 16 darts in just over 5 secs, very impressive! I'm buying this for sure, hopefully we don't have to wait much longer.
ReplyDelete6 seconds to clear a mag.... impressive (for stock)
ReplyDeleteHasbro Nerf pwnd Stampede modders with these release!
ReplyDeleteSure there are people complsning about "Ugh, another flywheel" but that is real auto fire stock & not the lama "auto fire" the vulcan & stampede had stock. Looks like the rapidstrike can at least pound out 3-4 rounds inthe time it would take it's predicesors to shoot 2.
ReplyDeleteWOW! O_O
ReplyDeleteYour enemies may hear you coming, but they're gonna run for cover once the Rapidstrike starts firing. Slap a 25 round drum from the Rampage and its go time!
Lol the noise is a warning! If the ROF increases by Trustfires (C to AA battery converter + x2 to x4 Trustfires), oh boy this wipes out those Masterkeys!
DeleteIf the wiring for it is anything similar to the Tommy 20 then adding Trustfires should boost both RPM & velocity so win win
DeleteThis rocks.
ReplyDeleteI do really commend you guys for sticking to your guns (haha) and having the guts to still post this type of information for us all to see. Have you noticed this news should be hitting every other Nerf blog out there, and yet UT is the only one actually caring about bringing the news to the fans?
I know these days Nerf gives away lots of freebies and promises the world for your silence, but it shows why Uban Taggers is still after all this time the premier source of Nerf information. Every second blog out there says "MY SOURCES AT NERF" like they're special or something.
Good to see you're back Pocket. I for one appreciate it.
I think Oz Hasbro is not as strict as in the USA and understands Pocket's not hurting anyone but actually generating more interest for the Rapidstrike more than anything else. The American blogs all have to keep quiet or they won't get their free swag on launch time. I notice most of Urban Taggers reviews are with orange triggers so they're obviously not coming from Oz Hasbro anyway so maybe Australia dont try to buy silence.
DeleteIt is strangely quiet in the NIC given this news. SG Nerf have it up too, but all of the other blogs I check regularly are staying silent, although they mention it on their Facebook pages. I think Basic Nerf got wind of this video first but didn't dare to post it. Says a lot about how easy it is to silence bloggers these days. Glad Urban Taggers is still around though because I hadn't any interest in another flywheel blaster before seeing these detailed pictures and video. Consider me converted!
DeleteI CANT WAIT PEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEW SO FAST
ReplyDeleteWe don't know for certain if this video is accurate for stock performance. He could have voltage modded it.
ReplyDeletevery unlikely, the motors sound the same as a stock stryfe

I wonder how did they get the blaster that haven't released yet...
ReplyDeleteWorks at the production factory maybe?
Delete*sigh* maybe next year an elite stampede will come...
ReplyDeleteThis is the Elite Stampede wether you like it or not
