Whoah! The fellas at
Foam from Above have been lucky enough to get their hands on the much coveted Nerf Dart Tag
Quick 16, Scatterblast and a pair of Dart Tag Vision Gear from Nerf themselves. We got one over a month ago, but this is a Quick 16 in retail packaging, which does show we should be seeing them on shelves REALLY soon.

yeah, but its not that useful.
ReplyDeleteyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeessss I HOPE IT IS COMING TO THE UK SOON
ReplyDeletethe u.k have all the 2011 nerf super soakers even the Scatterblast but we don't nave the quick 16 of the goggles
ReplyDeleteDid anyone else see the green sticker that said ESPN SPORT on the quick 16's box? :P
ReplyDeleteEvery time a new development has come up in the Dart Tag 2011 saga, we have believed that the blasters would come out “soon”. I hope that this time, they actually do… preferably sometime this month. I suppose that Nerf actually GIVING a blaster and goggles to a Nerf blog is significant, as all other ones have been obtained… well… elsewhere. On the other hand, Hasbro is smart. I would be surprised if Nerf did not have an entire office dedicated to watching Nerf blogs such as Urban Taggers – by the way, easily the best one around, Pocket! :) So my point is, this may be just a bone proffered to keep us happy and less suspicious (though I hope with all my heart that it isn’t!)
ReplyDelete...can someone please explain to me why the Vortex line has a set date, even though we know almost nothing about it, and yet Nerf refuses to give us a release date for the new Dart Tag blasters?
ReplyDeletethe made a commercial for the hydro cannon already...
ReplyDeleteThe blaster is cocked back when a dart is shooting out of it. Is that possible?
ReplyDeleteFAIL
you know the guy after bluefire has got a really good point. unless i missed it there is no date set for dart tag, and yet they got one for vortex and the repainted blasters. whats up with that?
ReplyDeleteDoes the quick 16 have any "iron sight type thing"? If not I will still get it I can't wait for it to come out in the U.S.
ReplyDeleteno, it doesn't have an iron sight, the key difference between n-strike and dart tag is dart tag is all about the game and making the game better while n-strike has clips, scopes, rails, bipods, and so on.
ReplyDeleteI'm just Asking
ReplyDeletehow did you obtain all the guns well before there release
also how would you go about it if you wanted to get one yourself before it is released
why give a release date for some crappy disk shooters(vortex) but not dart tag?
ReplyDeleteTrue to harpuia. N-Strike is all about scopes and accessories. Dart-Tag on the other hand is more game focused and less about all the other crap. And I did hear that ESPN is considering making Dart-Tag a real sport. That would be amazing!!! And I hope that Hasbro could possibly consider a dual-drum mag for a re-release of the Stampede. Btw...amazing blog. I check it every day. I'd also recommend NGR for Nerf reviews. I'm based in Pennsylvania so I get all the nerf news from the testing sites (the Pacific and Asia). I'm considering renting a warehouse and converting it for nothin but nerf. HvZ, Dart-Tag, local nerf wars, you name it. It's quite a project.
ReplyDeleteTo the anonymous saying it's impossible to shoot while the blaster is cocked back... try slamfiring. I'm sure if you did it fast enough you it could look like that :P
ReplyDeleteHello nerf fans I was able to find the nerf Quick 16 nerf blaster at

@ wanna-be:
ReplyDeleteGood point, but so far, it is just SPECULATION that Vortex will be disk blasters. Some random person placed a comment a while back, and now everyone is accepting it as fact! Vortex may turn out to be disk blasters for all I know, but we mustn't start stating speculations as the truth until we have some evidence.
can anyone tell me where i can buy a SWARMFIRE and QUICK 16 from in Austrlia
