Nerf's official introduction to the new Vortex line in their new vid featured on their Facebook page Nerf Nation. Here it is for those of you who don't like believing rumours and sneak previews and only like things from official sources. It shows the blasters and their official names in "360 degree" views, complete with a tuff military style drum beat soundtrack. Hoo Rarrr!
Heh, sounds more like the Iron Man soundtrack to me! These blasters have more horizontal heft than I imagined, which I like. The Recon Style Stock on the Praxis looks very nice too.
ReplyDeleteWhat about the Mission? Does that blaster just not exist, or is it being released later then everything else, or what?
ReplyDeleteI was hoping to see the vigilon or nitron shoot:(
ReplyDeletecool
ReplyDeleteFast off the mark, Pocket! And I check that page at least twice a day...
ReplyDeleteyay, more stuff, lol, i wish it showed them shooting, and man the vigilon is a bit bigger than i realized, that thing is a hunk of a pistol
ReplyDeletelook at 23 seconds, where it show the nitron, from the front you can see the inside of the scope, it looks like a single piece of plastic with the trapezoid figures,
ReplyDeleteHEY POCKET can you get a screen shot or freeze frame of that for us?
The mission isn't a gun. its just a pack. like the ammo refill, maybe its like ammo with a magazine or something. or it will be a tactical rail attachment or some odd thing lol.

ReplyDeleteThe Mission I believe will be a similar kit to the N-Strike Mission Kits, and may include clips or accessories. I never expected it to be a blaster.
ReplyDeletethe vigilon is no bigger than the speedload 6 lol. that thing is a beast pistol also. i'm already saving for these! I want to get all 4 day one XD lol though I doubt I would need them... but they look cool. and hopefully shoot reaaaally far. though winds gonna be a killer. and yeah it looks like a single layer plastic in the nitrons scope at :25 seconds if you freeze it right.
ReplyDeleteEveryone complains about the wind killing aim with the disks, haven't the noticed it does the same with darts, my darts don't fly straight on windy days, I never go out to play when there is a good deal of wind.
ReplyDeleteeven a little wind will mess up a disc though. Takes a bit more than a gentle breeze to mess up a dart. plus if you use streamlines then that's your problem. Even if you are inside, they are just so "aerodynamic" that a slight bend in the dart itself will make it curve. I use to use the raider a lot, but had this happen too often. That,s why I only use streamline or dart tag guns now. Its a lot less likely for them to curve. I love me the quick 16!!!
ReplyDeleteVigilion=Awesome. 'Nuff said.
ReplyDelete--That One Dude--
lol
ReplyDeleteStands shown not available in retail
Stefan discs anyone?
ReplyDeleteForget the vortex stuff, when does Australia get the Swarmfire!?
ReplyDeleteDude! So close to showing the Nitron's scope!
ReplyDeleteEnough bitching about the wind already. If I played outdoors I would be way more concerned that the disks are GREEN.
ReplyDeletewoops meant I use whistler and dart tag darts only. just thought I would correct myself.
ReplyDeletethe discs are light green, not dark grass green color. and the color doesn't affect performance... I don't care if a loose a few lol. plus I imagine they will land on top of the grass, not fall into the the grass like a dart would when it falls pointing down.
