We've been talking about the much anticipated Nerf Rayven CS-18 for a while, but our well respected contact States-side has informed us that there's now very strong evidence to suggest the Rayven will be released around the end of January 2012 with a RRP of $39.95. US e-tailers are already offering it for a bit cheaper, but in general you're still looking at that 35-40 buck mark.
Thanks to Jason for the intel!

:( Now if I want to dual, I have to shell out about 80 bucks?
ReplyDeleteThat's expensive. I'll stick with my clipped barricades
ReplyDeleteThat's more than I was expecting. Won't stop me from getting one though :P
ReplyDeleteThought it would cost about forty since barricade is a bit smaller and costs thirty
ReplyDeleteI knew it woulc come out january but $40 for that!? I was expecting $25 or $30
ReplyDeleteWhen does it come out in the uk
ReplyDeletea barricades 17 dollars.... isnt it?
ReplyDeletemore than double the price of a barricade , very upseting
ReplyDeleteI doubt it is going to be 40, but that is just based on size and dart amount. The Alpha Trooper has an 18 Dart clip and was bout 20 here in the US, and the other flywheel gun the Barricade was 17, and from what I can tell this gun isn't that much bigger than an Alpha Trooper (Could be entirely wrong on that though) and I doubt the Firefly clip would raise the price that much. I am betting The Rayven will probably be 25 in stores, at most 30.
ReplyDeleteJeeze that's too expensive! I guess I'll just get one instead of two like I was originally planning. Maybe I'll clip mod a barricade to go with it. I guess if the Rayven is coming out then, then maybe the speedswarm is too? One can only hope.
ReplyDelete$40 sounds fine to me, ill be buying 2 for sure!
ReplyDeleteJust a question, does the clip work in any CS blaster?
ReplyDelete@saxophowned
ReplyDeletei do believe it does, as another review i saw did use some other non light up clips which were orange.
please don't quote me on this though, as i only skim these things, but i am fairly certain.
Hope it helps, and please, correct me if i'm wrong :)
well with all the christmas money im getting i dont think its that big of a problem. but it is over priced by 10 to 20 bucks
ReplyDeleteIt is already out in some states, so get ready. Retailing at Target for 30$
ReplyDeletewhat states is it out at
ReplyDeleteAll I know is it's in southern california but I know there in more
DeleteI'm not going to whine about the price. I have more N Strike weapons than I need and want this one for sure. I'd spend more on something else anyway.
ReplyDeleteI would rather buy another raider instead of paying $40 for the rayven
ReplyDeleteiv seen it at target for $30 in NC 12-30-11
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteWhy? Compared to the Alpha Trooper and the Rayven, the Raider is crap. Heck, the Alpha Trooper is basically Raider 2.0, and the Rayven is better because you can dual-wield it.
are there any in the uk
ReplyDelete40$ is fine for me
ReplyDeletewhat about canada, eh?
ReplyDeleteIf in Brazil a Raider is R$200 (115 dollars), the Rayven will be at about R$320 (180 dollars). :/
ReplyDeleteThe Rayven seems like a great gun. I don't see why everyone is fussing about the price. I got tons of cash for christmas which means that I could probably get 2 to duel weild. The Rayven reminds me of a P90 SMG
ReplyDeletecrossed with a G18 machine pistol. Thats one out of many reasons at why I like it.
considering the fire-fly tech and the 18 bullet clip (compared to the 10 of the barricade)it's not surprising that its a little bit more than the barricade (dunno where you guys are getting your barricades from but RRP is about $29 at Big W or Kmart in Australia). It's coming with a clip and more darts so I anticipated $35ish
ReplyDeleteThis actually looks to me like an F2000
ReplyDeletewhen does it come out in the uk??????????
ReplyDeletei know its out in argos
