Rumours: Nerf clip attachments- Now this IS a useful hack


Now THIS is something I've never seen before- a browse on Chinese portal Baidu came up with these images of what looks like a Nerf clip attachment that allows you to carry extra clips via the tactical rails on your blaster. Simple, but they're definitely something that's actually quite useful for a change. Something for the likes of Sly Dev to whip up perhaps?:)

      Looks like a longshot scope tac rail connector that they used for it. Handy!

      It's an amazing idea, but definitely not official. This could easily be done with a screwdriver and glue.

    If I do recall, SlyDev already has a rail mount for clips, it just uses a velcro strap to secure it to the attachment.

    Ya, that totally looks like they took the rail attacher out of another accessory and glued it to the clip.

    There are some websites that offer 3D printed nerf accessories to do this.

    unless super glued i could see this just snapping off easily because of the torque the mag can put on it.

    Looks like the rail attachment from a tactical light glued onto the mag. Neat idea though.

    SlyDev has something like this already, I don't know how well it works, but they have a two piece system for long clips.

    Hmm plausible to make your own. Just add velcro to one side of a clip. then super glue velcro to a stiff piece of metal/plastic that can be added to a tactical rail accessory.

    Now, feedback.
    1. What is a decent tactical rail accessory that you can break apart to use here?
    2. Will it be held firmly enough even when moving around

    Otherwise, im thinking of making a strap-on velcro holster for the clips, one that you can snake around the barrel of the gun. It should have two clip holders - one for each side of my blaster. Intending this for my Stampede
