TIA 2011- Video of the Nerf Stand. via Sprocketman/ youTube
From youTube, Sprocketman posts a pretty cool vid of the Nerf stand at TIA's New York Toy Fair 2011. We've seen the pics, but here it is like you're actually there! (ok maybe not, but it's as close as we foreigners are gonna get)
If you listen close enough you can hear the stampede and longstrike commercials in the background. Also this is unrelated but who likes the longstrike because i'm thinking of buying one.
@ Anonymous The Longstrike is a pretty nice blaster. It is not as powerful as a real sniper rifle (coughLongshotcough)should be, but it can hold more clips, is quieter, and is much lighter. It has a pair of built-in sights on top that are pretty accurate, and a new, more complicated Tactical Rail multi-mode sight for longer ranges. Nerf bills it as the "longest Nerf gun ever!", but really, it is mostly stock. With their barrel extensions, the Longshot is actually longer from the back of the bolt to the tip of the barrel. Advertising quandaries aside, it is a good rifle with nice styling, and should serve you well. But if it's performance you're after, for the same amount of money the Raider carries almost 6 times as many darts, has Slam Fire, and shoots a bit farther (although is much, much louder).
Arghhhhh! All these videos get really close to what's playing on the screen, but never show more than a corner! Oh well... probably just teasers and such anyway.
What is with that vendetta sword!!! AWESOME!! Does anyone know when it comes out in the US?
P.S. The longstrike is a great blaster, very light weight, and fairly accurate. It is a good gun but I prefer the Longshot because I can get more accurate with it. Thats just me of course.
Well, I don't know what to say to that. I guess every blaster, even though they may be the same model, is a bit different. I didn't mean to bash the Longstrike at all, it is quite a good gun! Anyway, seeing as though the Longshot isn't made anymore, it is your only choice when it comes to bolt-action rifles.
The new stuff is cool, but that guy needs to calm down, lol!
