Spot the difference?... :P |
Just a little random piece: Neil from
Dart Tag Australia did bring to my attention that the Speedload 6's that we have seem to be less "yellow" than that of those from the
TIA Toy Fair 2011.
He's absolutely correct; I checked and my
Speedload 6 is a lot "blacker" :) That's the price we pay for getting the gear first for us to review for you folks!
Well at least now you have a "Premium" Speedload 6 ;P
ReplyDeleteNow well it be better is the question
ReplyDeletei think the extra yellow makes it very SEXY, i can;t wait for it to come out, nerf really did a good job on these blasters, too bad for modders nerf made it really hard for them to get at the internals like the n-strike.
ReplyDeleteYours appears to be unpainted.
ReplyDeleteI had a paint job planned after seeing yours, just replacing the yellow and black with different colors. The release version won't look as good, so I'll probably just paint it like yours anyway.
The only plus I can see on the release version is that there is a lot less black.
i think it's a change for da bettar. but, the premuim has less paint to deal with for paintjobs!
ReplyDeletei know, this is fanboy sounding but the official paint job reminds me of how the color scheme is in halo reach, did any one else get that too?
ReplyDeleteI like the final scheme. Its a little more balanced, and fits in with the N-Strike line a little more cleanly.
ReplyDeleteOn the Pre-Release version, you can tell where there will be yellow, there are faint outlines!

Well obviously you got your hands on a production prototype- possible one of the first Speedload 6's ever made! Coudos.
ReplyDeleteit could be worth Billions!! wait, why Billions when it could be Millions! lol
ReplyDelete......got any blacker?
ReplyDeleteMaybe someone threw a couple in the reject bin before they where finshed?

pre-release version looks better IMO. I like things simple, unlike the final "bumblebee" looking one.
ReplyDeleteI just got confirmation from Hasbro that the new Nerf Dart Tag series has just Started to be shipped to stores over the world. But they did say it could take several weeks or a month or two for them to make it to the shelves. CANT WAIT!
