Dart Tag Speedload 6 vs N-Strike Recon CS-6 |
It's been a while since I've done one of these, so here's a bit more detail on the much anticipated Nerf Dart Tag
Speedload 6. As we mentioned previously, although the Speedload is a Dart Tag 'pistol', it's not really very small. It's quite solid, weighty and for a hand blaster, really quite big. First up, you can see it's bigger than a naked N-Strike Recon CS-6.
|
disregard the size due to the camera angle, but length is definitely longer. |
The grip is longer and thicker than that of the Recon and feels more comfortable in a larger hand.
|
Speedload on top of a Recon. Awwww. Spooning. |
The Speedload 6 is thicker in physical size and has rounded edges compared to the N-Strike Recon.
|
Photos are taken without darts. |
The Speedload 6 is also heavier than the Recon with clip.
You can see it has a fair amount of physical size both in length and width.

Lots of layers.. |
For the modders out there, here's why I am dubious to crack this blaster open; it's got lots of panels ontop of panels and what looks like hidden screws under other panels. It's not looking like it's as easy to just pull apart like its N-Strike cousins. Still, I have no doubt in the hands of a keen modder that this wouldn't be a problem.
We're working on a range/distance vid so I'll have that up soon!
Humm...
ReplyDeleteIike it more and more each day,I can see my self useing one of these in a zombie round or 2 because of the "clip less clip".
