Rumours: Nerf Elite Rapidstrike box art (20m)

Apparently this was posted on blasted.de and shows the European box art for the upcoming Rapidstrike CS-18. Doesn't tell us anything new but is at least the full box:D Also.. the dude isn't smiling on this box?:P

Thanks to all those who emailed us with this and Browny who commented with the details!

  1. There is something new, unlike the other box which looked like a USA version this is a non USA version that clearly states "full-auto" which we all speculated that it was full auto, we did not have confirmation till now.
Also just for fun the kid on the box is different and isn't smiling, I don't know if that is back for Australia, lol.

  3. He's not smiling because now he's modeling the nerfed grey trigger :)

  4. The big thing with this blaster is its full-auto burst fire blasting. It fires up to 3.6 dps (darts per second).

  5. Looks like it will be like the nitron, hmmmm maybe this can be done:

    1. I think this blaster can reach a high max ROF than the vulcan or the stampede but The reason the nitron and pyragon reach high ROF is because of the flawless cycling of the disk into the camber which wouldn't translate over into the rapidstrke.

    2. As to the rapidstrike not having the Nitron/Pyragon high ROF reliability advantage, I have personally tested firing over 500RPM from an 18-round Elite magazine, using a heavily modded stryfe and a bump-fire-like technique.

BTW the Vulcan can hit 600RPM reliably and so can the swarmfire. The Stampede's inability to reliably run over 360RPM has a lot more to do with the mechanical design of the action itself than it does the ammo or the mags.

The critical part I am not mentioning is taking care to use the right ammo, good mags and taking care to load carefully. With Vortex, you don't have the option to NOT do this - with darts you do.

  6. Same exact pose... Smile is photoshopped?

    1. Still... How is he in the same EXACT pose as the 75 ft. box? Not a centimeter is different!

    2. Photoshopped. You didn't think the kids were actually holding the blaster, did you? Case in point-the blaster on the rough cut box reads "ROUGH CUT 2X4" while the blaster itself reads "ROUGHCUT 2X4"

  7. Looks like an upgraded, slimmer and more ergonomic stampede. :)

  8. It is photoshopped. You can see his upper lip is a slightly lighter and unshaded color of light tan.
