Are you excited yet? Or still a critic?:)

"Another awesome feature we can confirm about the new Nerf Vortex line? Most incorporate the same Tactical Rail system as Nerf N-Strike blasters – meaning that your Vortex and N-Strike accessories will be compatible with both lines. Get ready to take your Nerf collection to the next level. Keep your eyes on the page for more official info reveals on the Vortex lineup...there's much more to come."

Hopefully you've received my email by now, it should interest you...

What's with all the critics? I mean, what gave disks such a bad rap? Personally, I think they're a good idea... after all, few blasters could get a DART that far...

  3. I'm curious how they manage to shoot discs without batteries, but I'd rather stick with darts...

  5. A better look at those disks at least proves to me it's not the same design we've seen those Dollar Store disk shooters have... which is relieving! Neat to see the little guy in action too!

  9. Ok, 1st i think the viligon and praxis can have plungers, but how can the proton have one when the loading if from the rear? also at the end it shows that the praxis has a tube stock attachment piece like the recon, AT, and so on unlike the spectre and barricade. Why is the front of the proton so large?

  11. I hate the whole idea of disk guns.Too me Nerf will spas out with ther first sales and say something like"Hey lets make more disk guns and stop the foam darts,Then we can kill of N-strike!"Thats just what I think.

  13. THE BLASTER THAT HAS THE "RECON" STOCK IS THE PRAXIS!!!!

Notice that in the first vortex video when the guy holds the "recon" blaster, the little video clip before he shoots it,he says "vortex praxis." Listen closely. Its a bit blurry but you can make it out. The one with the foregrip is the vigilon, not praxis.

  16. any1 noticed the new shape of disks? The outer curve gives it an almost frisbee style shape so i reckon these will be a lot more accurate than other disk shooters :)
