You do have to hand it to Nerf for listening to their fans. As seen on the Nerf Dart Tag Tournament Malaysia Facebook Page, the much coveted Pinpoint sight looks to finally soon be re-released, and in the new Elite colour scheme to boot. Which does look sweet.. if you're a fan of the new elite colour scheme (and don't just paint your blasters anyway).

SG Nerf: Nerf Elite Pinpoint Sight?:
well, this is really cool and i feel like the elite line is what nerf fans have been wanting forever. direct plungers, pinpoint sights, etc. the spectre is kind of worthless now because we have seen the strongarm which will be better and cheaper and i don't know why they didn't just combine the raider and alpha trooper into one blaster like the strongarm. now the only thing that comes to mind that nerfers still want back is the longshot. so if nerf really is giving us what we want we may get a re-release longshot or a equally good longstrike. I don't know.
ReplyDeleteHope they sell as a mission pack like they did the green tac light. Would suck if they repackaged a junker like the hail fire & made it so that you had to buy that to get this sweet but of kit.
ReplyDeleteWANT.
ReplyDeleteNice... Only problem is, won't this bring down the price of the original ones on eBay and other stores?
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed they make it to Aus.
ReplyDeleteFile this under things I look forward to with much haste!
ReplyDeleteI swear, if they make a pump action shotgun-looking blaster or an elite alpha trooper, this would be a must-buy accessory.

ReplyDeleteDo the pinpoint sights actually work? As in, is the clear lens curved so they'll function like real reflex sights?
ReplyDeleteI always wanted the N-Strike model, but it was discontinued before I could even buy. Glad they're re-releasing it!
ReplyDeleteConfirming. They're offering them in NZ as a promotional giveaway at Farmers stores with the purchase of any N-Strike Elite blaster. Picked one up yesterday, it's identical to the old version except in colour.
ReplyDeleteAdding to above comment, I also went to Farmers today and saw an amazing sight on the shelves...around 30 Pinpoints just sitting there. They were supposed to be promotional products worth NZD20, but you can also buy them for that price. I wasn't that keen on a detuned Retaliator, so I bought 3. If you plan to come down here (very soon...), they're waiting!
ReplyDeleteSo this never hit the shelves in the US or Canada. And its been almost a year since they came out. Does anyone know if they will ever release this in North America. I saw a few of them on ebay for $100. I kid you not. $100.
