Nerf red + blue camo Vortex XLR discs

In a move that makes them look 1)awesome and 2)more like casino chips, check out these new camo print Nerf XLR Vortex discs.

Spotted on a Hungarian website (wow!) they come in both red and blue. Another interesting thing is on the back of the packaging, check out the Nitron...

I think the 'shielded' Nitron is all but official news. Just gotta wait till it comes out I guess:) Cheers Jason again for the lead!

  1. Did anyone notice the red and white repaints of the Praxis and Vigilon on the front? Hmm.....

    1. It looks like all of vortex is getting a repaint if you look at the toy fair pics. They are all gonna be red/white with some paint pattern specific to the blaster.

    2. That's just due to the angle of the packaging. It might seem white, but it's just faded green.

  2. Yup....they look great, why didnt they just start the Vortex line off with this color scheme?

  3. Great, just what we need, disc that won't be found until the vacum cleaner rolls over them :)

  5. I'll see your 5 blue disks & raise you 10 red disk. Seriously? Just pick a color & stick with it.

  7. at least they can be seen now instead of only green or glow in the dark disks sold.

  8. I don't understand why anyone would want a camouflage dart or disc. Don't you want to shoot them more than once? The dark blue elite darts are the worst, but the green vortex discs are surprisingly hard to find around the office because they get up on edge and roll and are thin enough to slip into tight spaces.

Having said that I don't think these new discs really look camouflaged. I think the bright patterns will make them relatively easy to spot indoors or out.

    1. OMG, let us know when you spot something useful like a laser sight or general release of the pinpoint. The shield is only good for suppling a rail clip & scrap plasitic.

  13. Camo discs are cool and all but I'd like the crimson discs what came with my Pyragon and Diatron sold separately (I'd put them in my Nitron or Praxis - green discs get lost way too easily).
