Nerf Vortex Revonix 360- more tid bits

Pic courtesy of Tactical Tag.. and in turn from someplace else on the internet:)
Another European website shops.ch has a listing for the upcoming Nerf Vortex Revonix 360. We've seen the videos from the NYC toyfair showing it in action and its 'load-on-the-fly" drum but up until this point I thought it was sort of a similar type of blaster to the Pyragon shooting 1 disc at a time but with slam-fire capabilities. We also heard rumours it was part of the "Multishot Madness" range from the London Toy Fair suggesting it shot two discs at the same time.. but this listing suggests it shoots 3 DISCS simultaneously which is new:) In any case, I do very much like the styling and paint scheme- it's tough:) (ok maybe not the Hotwheels style flames on the side!)

  2. The package from the first Toy Fair appearance however only shows 1 disc exiting the barrel, and no mention of multishot.

  3. that paint scheme is why i quit vortex and moved on to n-strike elite, i should have stuck with them from the start the retaliator is sweet

  4. I'm pretty sure the 3 discs is a translation error, but if it can I'm hoping you pump it once to load each disc, because otherwise I'd empty it in seconds slam-firing.

  5. not a fan of the paint at all. they went from really cool with the elite series to almost comical with the flames and if the centurion really has MEGA on it like that. They need to leave it simple and let people do their own custom paint. but I am very excited for this blaster. probably more so then anything else we've seen. even the rapid strike

  6. I am like one of the 5 people that thinks the flames are dope.

  7. Anyone else notice Nerf moving towards shotties? The barrel break and raider came out and now we have this, the pyragon/praxis model, and rough cut.

  8. I dunno. It looks like they're trying to make vortex blasters as unique as possible. Hot Wheels inspired paint job for this sweet one with 30 multi color discs,(hope that doesn't include green)Maybe next Vortex blaster will have a N Strike Elite color scheme.

    1. no just no vortex is vortex N-strike is N-strike keep it that way... and there is no vortex "elite" the pyragon was just a different color like how the raider was a different color, so was the longstrike, and the jolt

    1. the stock could be real but doesn't look like it, it looks like a more solid praxis stock.

    2. You know, slam fire guns ARE awesome, but slam firing actually causes darts to fly all over the place without hitting anything so I hope the Revonix will have stock to steady my shots while slam firing.

  10. Is it just me, or does this look like a grenade launcher from Team Fortress 2?
