Nerf Vortex: A look at the ammo

We've managed to get our hands on a sample of the new Nerf Vortex ammo. It's a very light weight foam ring that surrounds an equally lightweight plastic cap. I'd say they're much the muchness weightwise to a foam dart.

  1. Interesting...So the discs are sort of like a flat dart. Hopefully they have much better accuracy than Streamlines, seeing as there are no holes or anything.
Nerf's actually put more thought into these than was first apparent - they used to just look like plastic discs.

  6. I told you, when nerf makes something, they don't screw around, when they make disks they make god disks not crappy plastic ones.

  11. Nerf should have stuck to a yellow or orange color imo. I've lost almost an entire clip of these in a couple of games in my backyard!!
