I guess one way to keep people hot for new products is to bring out repaints of old products. The Big Bad Bow is now under the "N-Strike" banner and comes in..well N-Strike colours. Priddy:) As featured on

wish they could actually have the bow supply extra tension to the chamber for extra range

it probably sucks now, but i like the old one better. why do they have to change it?!?!?!?
ReplyDeleteI was annoyed enough when the Stampede came out without a number in its designation ("Stampede ECS." "ECS what?" "Just ECS." "How many rounds?" "No clue."), but now they come out with a repaint that has no designation at all! I suppose it would be an adulteration to rename such a classic something like "Scorpion AS-3" for the sake of cohesive branding purposes, though. I do like the colors... now we have another "new" blaster for the N-Strike line! My point is that the name, though all right on its own, does not well match names such as the Raider CS-35 or Barricade RV-10. Does the bow even have the N-Strike symbol on it at all?
ReplyDeleteI just realized something while writing the comment below... why is the Barricade's designation "RV-10"? The 10 is obvious (10 shots), and it couldn't have been REV-_ (because it is a flywheel blaster, a new system), but all the other designations have meanings. IX = internal mechanism, CS = clip system, REV = revolving barrel... So what does RV stand for? Any ideas, Pocket?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to get this one.
ReplyDeleteBluefire, I think you can suck it up.
