There it is folks- the official vid of the new upcoming Nerf N-Strike Elite series that's making the rounds. Hoping for lots of analysis and speculation; first thing that I thought was "take a look at those darts!' :D
i agree with the clips probably rotate around, but they friggin forgot the Vulcan, how could they???? and the 2nd gun for 2012 that you see is defiantly the rampage just for some reason has the retaliator stock on it.
The Hailfire looks enormous... It looks more likely to be the Vulcan's successor rather than the Stampede's. Game-wise, it looks like it will be a very polarizing blaster, both in handling and in capability.
Looking at the hailfire in the video, I decided to spend over an hour and drew what I feel is a much clearer, and fair depiction of what the hailfire will be. http://theneocreations.blogspot.com/2012/02/nerf-hailfire-what-does-it-really-look.html
Holy cow! Look at the magazine assembly on the Hailfire! Does that look like 4 clips on a rotating dock to anyone else? Wild stuff.

DeleteThe elite looks like it has a stefan cip, aka shorter darts. That 4 clip spinner looks crazy huge and not so exciting
ReplyDeleteWhat was up with that hailfire?! WHOA!
ReplyDeleteI think I had a nerdgasm when I saw the Hailfire.
ReplyDeleteDoes the hailfire remind anyone else of the BFG9000 from Doom3?
ReplyDeleteAs impressive as it might be, I'm far more interested in the others and the new darts!
Dayuuuuumm, the Hailfire looks really cool. I just wish it'd be full-auto as opposed to semi-auto.
ReplyDelete4 clips? Rotating dock!? *fainted*
ReplyDeleteNote the typo of 'laucnhes' XD
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that it has 4 barrels next to each other, horizontal style. Each barrel with 1 clip.
ReplyDeleteSo no rotating barrels, but 4 darts at a time, full auto, each barrel with its own plunger/spring.
It seems to have one trigger though.
Uhhhhhhhhhh so call me crazy but I don't think the Hailfire will be LAUCNHING anytime soon Nerf -_- Get a better video guy next time ok?

crazyness, the thing looks stupidly bulky, its gonna have to be tremendously functional to pull of being that bulky.
ReplyDeleteLove the typo at 0:47. Did their target audience make the video? :p
ReplyDeleteThat hail fire looks weird...that new Raider looks weird too. They both look like they could be electric.
