Upcoming Nerf release dates: Australia

This just in! Some official intel from Hasbro on some of the upcoming release dates for the new Nerf gear.

The upcoming N-Strike Elite Mega Centurion will be released in Australia in September, and will be subject to the same strict safety standards as previous N-Strike Elite kit. While the U.S version boasts up to 100ft distances, the Australian/ISO version will be badged 23m and the official word is "and any other blasters in this range" suggesting there will be more additions to the MEGA line.

The N-Strike Elite Rapidstrike CS-18 should also make it to Australian shelves in September.

The N-Strike Elite revisioning of the Spectre REV-5 will be available in small quantities at Toys R Us in July.

As for the upcoming Rebelle and Zombiestrike lines- as far as the Rebelle line is concerned, more info will be shared at a later date, but Target Australia will receive two exclusives for 2013 being the Hammer Shot and another blaster called the "SLEDGE FIRE". These will be available on Australian shelves in October this year.

The smart phone app cradle should be available from Toys R Us stores across the country in April.

And now for the weather....:P

    3. Haven't u noticed how there is the Hammer shot and that it is called that because it uses a hammer direct plunger/ real revolver's hammer equivalent. Therefore the sledge fire would be some kind of hammer direct plunger system and would be similar to the snapfire 8's internals (or hammer shot). No actual sledgehammer launchers or saw blade launchers (Wild Wild West) or mayor Adam West's cat launcher. Also MLD has rumors about a new Nerf rpg (http://mylastdart.blogspot.com.au/2013/06/nerf-elite-sonic-ice-rampage-hits.html#more) screw down to the other news.

  3. Gosh, why do they always like to photoshop this hot French reporter Melissa Theuriau as newsreader for everything. Pathetic.

    1. Hey Harrison, I can confirm by S.O.F.T.'s contacts that the Elite Stryfe will be appearing at Kmarts around Aus in the next month or so, and the Elite Rayven will not be seeing a domestic release. :)

    2. Thanks! I'll most probably get the Stryfe! Hope it's a reasonable price in K-mart.

  9. you guys noticed that nerf is stocked in sporting section of Kmart now... could that mean Hasbro Australia trying to reclassify nerf in Australia as non toys but sports gear maybe that will let them make more powerrrreee

  10. oh yes and not to mention that the Mega centurion is reverse plungered.Even funnier is that the elite line in Australia is actually not that weak as first speculated (shot my hand point blank and it hurts)
