Clear Series Vulcan EBF 25: Nerf official release

Clear Vulcan EBF 25 with red darts. Target US exclusive
This is almost a clean sweep of all Nerf rumours this year: and the one I was waiting for. Released on Nerf's official Facebook page:

"The Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25 blaster joined the Clear Series Special Edition lineup. That’s right, this exclusive beast of an N-Strike blaster received the clear treatment just like the N-Strike Recon CS-6, Nite Finder EX-3, etc. and also comes with sweet red darts. This blaster is only available at Target and Target.com (if you’re in the U.S). Better hurry before they clear off the shelves."

That's right. Exclusive to Target US with the red darts. Gahh lookslike we Aussies miss out for now.

Sonic Series Vulcan EBF 25: Pic Spam:)

Vulcan EBF-25 Sonic Series: I can see your insides:)
The Sonic Series is merely an aesthetic reshell of some of Nerf's existing N-Strike blaster range. We don't know why 'sonic' constitutes translucent green, and I was a lil' dubious in the first place at Nerf's colour choice, but I HAVE to admit.. they look amazing, both in photos and in person. Beauty IS in the eye of the beholder though, and I'm sure they're not for everyone but for those of you who've written to us for more pics of the mighty Vulcan EBF-25.. here you go:)

Rediscovering my Vulcan EBF-25

I've recently rediscovered my love for the Vulcan EBF-25:)

Although at the time the Vulcan EBF-25 was considered the mother of all Nerf blasters, it seemed to over time lose popularity amongst avid Nerfers. I'm not really sure why, it IS a kick-ass blaster, popping off 3 rounds a second (or..lots more if you've got a modding streak in you) and is an absolute beast to go up against. It was also the 4th N-Strike blaster I acquired (after the Maverick, Nitefinder + Recon) and I recall while I thought it was awesome at the time, it very quickly fell into one of my least played with blasters.. until now:)

Review: Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25

Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25. Get back to the chopper!
The Vulcan was 2009's BIG thing in Nerf and really made the world (not just Nerf diehards but anyone who visited a toy store) realise that Nerf ain't just cutesy lil foam balls no more:) It's the gun your friends stare at and say things like "HO-LY FARK what the hell is that?" or "OMG I want THAT one"..

The Vulcan is a fully automatic, 3-rounds-per-second 25 round belt fed beast of a foam dart gun. Running on 6 D cell batteries, but also has a manual primer to shoot single shots if you need to (or ran out of batteries). It comes with the belt and an external ammo box to clip to the side of the gun. It's so big it needs a handle on top of the gun for you to hold on to.
