Rumours: More on the Super Soaker Hydro Cannon

Hydro Cannon. Boom baby!
A few more images and some info on what the upcoming new Super Soaker Hydro Cannon will look like. I know i've said it before but I'm really impressed with the designers on the new Super Soaker range; it just looks AWESOME.

Interestingly enough the Hydro Cannon doesn't seem to take the new water clips and it looks like it will store the water in the rear of the blaster. I'll also take a punt and suggest the hand grip at the front of the blaster will serve as the pump (like the way the N-Strike Raider cocks) to pressurise the air. Looks like there are three tactical rails on top of the blaster too. Comes with what looks like a detachable transparent shield with cross hairs printed on it:)

Hydro Cannon. It looks priddy.

There's the fear the Hydro Cannon will sport a fake trigger and be another glorified piston/syringe style blaster (e.g. the awesome looking but somewhat underwhelming Super Soaker Shot Blast) which no-one really likes. In this case, the fact the trigger is ORANGE suggests it's genuine compared to the pictures of piston blasters like the upcoming Tornado Strike and the Scatter Blast which are blue(the same colour as the hand grip).

Sooo all and all.. given that there IS a trigger and that the Hydro Cannon is NOT electronic suggests a genuine pressurised water blaster- which is what a Super Soaker SHOULD be.  Could this be a new version of the all powerful CPS-2000 from the 90's? We can only hope.

  1. finally figured it out. its a water version of the titan and like a real rocket launcher the back goes over the shoulder and the shield is really the sights just like a javelin or other launchers.

  3. @zack- looks like a spectre if you ask me

@anyone who knows- if there is no water clip compatibility, where do you fill it?

  4. The transparent thing looks like it attaches to tactical rails...:D
It would look good on a Titan IF it could fit (which it doesn't). The Titan would like like one of those Anti-Air rocket launchers (like the FIM-92 Stinger perhaps?)
