Review: Nerf N-Strike Titan ASV-1

Nerf N-Strike Titan ASV-1. MEGA Missile...

The Nerf N-Strike Titan ASV-1 is a bit of a "WTF is that for?" and in Australia it currently only comes in the Unity Power System pack, along with the Hornet AS-6 and the Scout IX-2 blasters. It is a pretty gutsy bazooka/launcher type unit that uses air pressure and uses it's own type of ammunition, a big foam "mega" missile. And you only get one in the pack, so use it WISELY! (It also came in a Incredible Hulk green colour scheme and was called the "Hulk Abomination Blaster but this kit didn't include the Scout IX3)

Rant: Toy Guns- they're just that:)

The thing about toy guns is they're exactly that- toys. Not supposed to harm, not supposed to cause injury,and are all about make believe and pretend fun. Most people in the world don't actually have the experience or the will to fire off real guns, nor are they so inclined to do so. Guns kill. Nerf.. doesn't.

Review: Nerf N-Strike Scout IX-3

Part of the Nerf "Unity Power System" (because I haven't seen this gun sold individually in Australia), The Scout IX-3 is a pistol-like blaster that uses a cocking slide system not dissimilar to the tried and true Maverick, but loads from the barrel like the Nite Finder. For something so simple it's actually the coolest gun of the three (in the Unity)

Review: Nerf Dart Tag Furyfire

Nerf's current Dart Tag gun is the Furyfire; a beefed up 10 round barrel tagger that gets its cues from the N-Strike Maverick. Dart Tag guns come in different colour schemes to the N-Strike line and the Furyfire is no different; comes in a very sexy fluoro green or orange paint job, depending on whether you pick them up individually or in the original two player set(in which case you get both)

Review: Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25

The Vulcan was 2009's BIG thing in Nerf and really made the world (not just Nerf diehards but anyone who visited a toy store) realise that Nerf ain't just cutesy lil foam balls no more:) It's the gun your friends stare at and say things like "HO-LY FARK what the hell is that?" or "OMG I want THAT one"..

The Vulcan is a fully automatic, 3-rounds-per-second 25 round belt fed beast of a foam dart gun. Running on 6 D cell batteries, but also has a manual primer to shoot single shots if you need to (or ran out of batteries). It comes with the belt and an external ammo box to clip to the side of the gun. It's so big it needs a handle on top of the gun for you to hold on to.

Review: Nerf N-Strike Longshot CS-6

Nerf N-Strike Longshot CS-6. Size matters.

The Nerf N-Strike Longshot CS-6 is the serious Nerfer's weapon of choice. It has been around for a few years and was considered to be the longest Nerf gun ever made before the newer (and performance-wise inferior) Longstrike came out. Although it is currently discontinued, it still sells in many toy stores Australia-wide (because we always get the old discontinued stock!) and it's considered a real find if you can get your hands on one.

Review: Nerf N-Strike Raider CS-35

Nerf N-Strike Raider CS-35. Tonight you sleep with da fishes.

The Nerf N-Strike Raider CS-35 was the first gun to come with a massive 35 bullet drum, with cues from a gangster tommy-gun. In Australia, it was also the first Nerf N-Strike gun to come in another colour other than yellow. If blue and orange is more your cup of tea, the Raider is the gun of choice:)
