The Lazer Tag LTTO (Lazer Tag Team Ops) Drone IRT-2x was brought out to compliment the Deluxe model but can be used on its own. Again, not available in Australia, and also discontinued, it was a shame given how incredibly cool they are to play with..

Toy Story Nerf gun. To infinity..but not Australia.

It's quite likely that Nerf's new range of foam blasters will be delayed with their release in Australia; man we still don't officially have the Deploy here yet. Some of us can't wait that long. Soo.. while doing some research on importing Nerf guns into the country from the US and HK, I stumbled across a whole section to "projectile toys".. and a list of some projectile blasters in the past have been banned.. like the "Buzz Lightyear Nerf gun" in 2005. Of ALL the guns to be banned, that one got the red flag!!!

Had this sent to me; I've never heard of "Foam Strike" before, but there's something about this blowpipe that I find kinda appealing:) I've made a statement that I only buy Nerf, but I was intrigued by another foam dart player on the market so I did some Googling...

Preview: Nerf N-Strike new releases for 2010

Nerf has released four new N-Strike guns for 2010 that are enough to get any Nerf collector jumping up and down like a crazy man in excitement. The stealthy looking Spectre REV-5, tonka tuff looking Alpha Trooper CS-18, the bad-ass looking Barrel Break IX-2 and the all important flagship Stampede ECS.

Good news is most of them are already out in various parts of the world. Bad news.. not Australia:( I've got my networks in Hong Kong and the US onto it for me so here's hoping I'll still be able to pick 'em up..

Game: Humans vs Zombies

Humans vs Zombies. Or Humans vs Solid Snake.

I'd never heard of this before until recently until a friend referred me to the site. It's a massive game of tag, much like the "Assassin" game played in universities. And again, there's a Nerf gun element to it.

Lazer tag never really took off in Australia, but that's not to say I didn't work around that:)  Hasbro's Lazer Tag Team Ops (LTTO) line from several years back brought all the cool elements of Lazer Tag from the 80's back into a home environment...but were only available in the US. Sooo.. after a crazy early morning impulse buy on Ebay, I ended up with 12 of these LTTO Deluxe taggers..

Pricewatch: Target Big Toy Sale 22nd July

Target's big toy sale of the year has some decent Nerf gear for fantastic prices. I've got most of the stuff already, but the big one for me is the first time I've seen the Rapidfire AS-20 so I ended up going in today and picking one up at $39.95 instead of waiting for the sale. Why? Because you crazy Nerf die hards always beat me to it on the day!!
