Nerf N-Strike 'Whiteout' series: It's confirmed- SGNerf

It's officially called the "Whiteout" series and has come without any official warning! You'll recall we got ourselves a white Maverick a few months back, lending itself to much speculation and discussion (and perhaps a bit of confusion too). A few pricelists popped up over time but not much else, so this would have to be the first time we've actually seen/heard of a real title for the line.

And.. straight up they're available in Singapore, as posted by SG Nerf this morning. We were speculating what the forth blaster would be (We know the Maverick, Deploy and Nitefinder were on the pricelists) and it's confirmed it's the Longstrike CS-6 and it looks TRICK in this new colour scheme.  It's an interesting choice with the Longstrike, and many of the haters will roll their eyes at this (actually many of the haters will roll eyes at the idea of ANOTHER paint job anyway) but it really works.

A selection of pics courtesy SGNerf is featured after the jump, but for the full kit and kaboodle, hit up his blog.

Note: Interestingly enough, despite this official release today there's no official mention of the Whiteout series anywhere on the Nerf site or Facebook page. Any attempts to post images of the Whiteout blasters on their Facebook page have been removed?!  Could it be another case of "if it ain't in the US it doesn't exist" mentality?

The Whiteout Longstrike. Makes a good lookin' blaster look even better.
The other repaint series such as the Clear series and the Sonic series funnily enough didn't actually HAVE a whole lot of paint on them, they were just using the moulds and producing translucent shells for the blasters. The upcoming 'Gear Up' series does apply black stripes but on the whole they're also just simple two tones. This Whiteout series however is more than just using white plastic, they've given it orange and dark grey accents and they've bothered to actually use paint details (the swhirly round target looking icons).
Probably my favourite repaint to date. Love the detail and accents
For once they've actually made a fantastic choice in colour schemes (hey UT was first with that one!)

Sure it's a Longstrike. But damn it looks fine
Whoo.. the stock

The Maverick. Seen this already:)
Wow. Soo many. Hawt.
That Maverick..in packaging

  7. Hah these paint schemes look BOSS! Beats anything I could do myself, anyway...
Did anyone notice the suspicious box on the left, though? It had 'IKE' (half of Longstrike) but it said it came with 1n 18-round drum?

  8. Klosteral- it's an Alpha trooper. look under the SGNERF branding and u can see it. the "IKE" is just the N-Strike logo.

  11. So stoked about the Whiteout Longstrike. We really should be done buying N-Strike with the shear numbers we have, but that is a sexy blaster.

Now I'm going to have to compare the new Longstrike and that Jakks Pacific sniper and see which I want more!

  12. Yea I can't stand it when nerf does something on one hand, but wont address it on the other. Even to a US citizen, their "if it ain't in the US it doesn't exist" mentality is very frustrating.

  13. Nerf always seems to do this, first they release a blaster and everyone buys it, then they release an awesome repaint and then everyone wants that one too, but already has one.

  14. Ugh, I already have a Longstrike, but the repaint is too awesome. I can't decide whether I should buy it or not. (For the record my Longstrike is broken, bolt fell off a few days ago) :(
